I chose this image because of the shadows cast by the taller objects and the strong returns of whites from the bench and the concrete. The contrast of the bricks and the concrete bench caught my eye.
I appreciate the various angles at which the benches and bricks present themselves against one another. The contrast in color between the bricks, benches and concrete are wonderful as well. Very strong image and wonderful perspective!
This is nice asymmetrical composition here, which accentuates those shadow shapes that interested you. With the strong, directional lighting you have here, there is a lot of potential for this image in black and white. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
